About us
Glasgow heart. Digital mischief. Stuff ye willnae find anywhere else.
I'm Ralph, the Glasgow-born designer behind Pixel84u. Every piece from bold Rangers prints to limited-edition Glasgow cityscapes starts life on my screen and ships straight to your door, made to order through Gelato. No warehouses, no high-street copies, just digital art with a Scottish soul.
Origin
I grew up in Glasgow, and Glasgow never really leaves you. The Clyde. The noise of Ibrox on a matchday. The Duke of Wellington with his traffic cone. That city is in my bones, and when I ended up living in Melton Mowbray — fine place, great pork pies, but no Rangers ground within a hundred miles — I had to find a way to bring a bit of it with me.
Pixel84u started because I couldn't find the stuff I actually wanted to buy. Everything on the high street was the same generic nonsense. I wanted art that had personality, that meant something, that made you laugh or gave you a wee lump in your throat. So I started making it myself.
Process and Craft
Everything you see here I made. The Glasgow cityscapes, the Rangers prints, the Tartan Army gear — all created digitally, in-house, by me. The Rangers collection uses AI-generated imagery that I direct and refine until it looks right; everything else is drawn and designed from scratch. No templates. No outsourced clip art.
Once a design is finished, it goes straight to Gelato, who print and ship it to you made to order. That means no dead stock sitting in a garage, no compromises on quality, and nothing sitting around waiting to be bought. Your order is made for you, then it comes to you.
New stuff goes up most weeks. When something's gone, it's usually gone.
Values
I'm not trying to be everything to everyone. Pixel84u is for people who want something with a bit of character — a piece of wall art that starts a conversation, a mug that makes you smile before you've even had your first coffee, a gift that doesn't look like it came off a production line.
The irreverence is deliberate. If you've seen the "Oiii Bawbag" tee or the "Shut it Tadger" phone case, you'll know I'm not making souvenirs for the gift shop at the airport. I make things for people who get it — Rangers fans, Scotland supporters, folk who love Glasgow as much as I do, and anyone who appreciates art that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Scottish pride runs through everything here. Not the shortbread-tin version. The real thing.
Have a browse. If you find something that makes you think "aye, that's the one" — that's exactly why it exists.
And if you're after something specific that you cannae find, get in touch. I like a creative challenge.
